We believe in the power of community, and we know that investing in young people is the key to long-term success—for them, for their families, and for Allouez as a whole. Through our volunteer efforts, fundraising, and signature events like AllouezFest, we’re proud to champion causes that educate, uplift, and empower the next generation.
Since the 1970s, the Allouez Optimist Club has been proudly serving the Village of Allouez and its surrounding communities. As a co-ed organization made up of local professionals, business owners, and neighbors, our mission is simple but powerful: to raise funds and provide support for youth and youth-focused programs that help shape brighter futures.
At our core, we are Optimists—a part of the international Optimist movement dedicated to bringing out the best in kids. As a proud member club of Optimist International, we carry forward the mission of creating a more optimistic future through support of youth programs and community engagement.
Here in Allouez, that mission takes shape in many ways. From community fundraisers to hands-on volunteer efforts, we’re constantly working to support youth-based initiatives that make a real impact. Over the years, we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars for local youth organizations, programs, and events.
We provide support for:
Junior Achievement – helping young people build financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills
The Einstein Project – making hands-on science and STEM learning accessible and engaging
PALS Program – empowering mentorship and leadership development for young students
Other youth-focused causes and school initiatives in Allouez and the Greater Green Bay area

Every child deserves a chance to succeed, and every community needs organizations willing to step up and make that happen. The Allouez Optimist Club exists to fill that gap—providing encouragement, opportunities, and funding for programs that might not happen otherwise.
We know that youth success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It requires mentors, resources, activities, and sometimes just a helping hand. That’s what we strive to be—a community of helping hands, ready to step in when needed.
The money we raise, the events we host, and the time we volunteer all go toward one mission: making Allouez a stronger, more connected, and more optimistic place to live.
Each week at our lunch meetings, we welcome a guest speaker from a local nonprofit organization or business who is making a meaningful impact in our community. These speakers typically share a 20-minute presentation about their mission, the work they’re doing, and how it’s shaping the future of Allouez and the surrounding area. It’s a great opportunity for our members to stay informed, inspired, and connected to the causes that matter most locally.
Every June, we host AllouezFest—our signature event and biggest fundraiser of the year. What began 40 years ago as a small car show and food stand has evolved into a full-scale community picnic and celebration that brings together families, businesses, and car lovers from across Northeast Wisconsin.
This year’s AllouezFest will take place on Saturday, June 8th, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

🚗 Car Show featuring over 20 vehicle classes—from classic beauties to modern marvels
Whether you’re showing off your ride, hunting for handmade gifts, or enjoying an afternoon with family and friends, AllouezFest has something for everyone. Most importantly, 100% of proceeds go back to youth-focused causes right here in our community.
Getting involved with the Allouez Optimist Club is a meaningful and rewarding way to give back to the community. Whether you become a member, attend our annual AllouezFest event, or purchase one of our limited 400 raffle tickets, your support helps us fund vital youth programs in Allouez and the surrounding area. Our club is made up of professionals from all walks of life—bankers, designers, realtors, nonprofit leaders, and more—who are united by a shared passion for supporting the next generation. Every effort, big or small, plays a role in building a stronger, more optimistic future for local youth.
